General Summary
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Eastern Michigan University seeks applications for one full-time Lecturer position in mathematics (non-tenure track).
The teaching load is 30 hours per academic year (approximately 15 hours per semester).Some courses may be offered in the evening.
Primary teaching responsibilities will be in freshman and sophomore level mathematics courses including mathematical reasoning, college algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, math for elementary teachers, and pre-college mathematics.
Instructors participate in a team environment that supports and implements strategies for curriculum development, continuous improvement and assessment of student learning, and inclusive excellence in teaching.

Qualifications
Applicants must have completed all degree requirements for the master's degree in mathematics.Applicants who hold a bachelor's degree in mathematics and have completed all degree requirements for a master's degree in statistics or mathematics education may be considered.
Applicants should have documented successful teaching experience in mathematics in the college setting.
